My world was in complete disarray,
Life was a dead end of hopelessness,
My closest friend deserted me,
Escape seemed impossible,
My back was to the wall,
Desperation was my daily sob.
God’s powerful grace pushed back,
Out of desperation flowed hope,
True friends flocked around me,
The dead end was now opportunity,
Opening into a plethora of options,
Grace is my constant experience.
