Today I feel like giving up,
Opposition is all around me,
It never seems to let up,
Are you listening God?
When the fear rises up inside of me,
I can taste its foul stench,
I feel sick with worry,
About what can go wrong.
When my enemy wears me down,
I must learn to look to God,
I can’t solve my enemy’s problems,
I know You have protected me in the past,
And, You will continue to protect me in the future.
Praise is the best response to fear,
Fear shrinks when God is praised,
God’s will is fulfilled in praise.
