I love to begin a day with a heartfelt, “Hallelujah!”
This gladness begins from deep within my soul,
Its source is when my first thought when waking,
is captured to celebrate God’s loving heart,
Life follows a path of abundant laughter,
Shared through the world with a choir singing praises that can be heard by Eternity.
My day begins with God’s hand touching my shoulder,
I turn to see that Eternity has chosen to be with me,
My heart is warmed as I see His look of delight
at my desire to express my soul’s eternal thanks,
I am blessed by his gentle touch and kind words,
Thank you Lord. Thank you Grace. Thank you Love,
Thank you Forgiveness. Thank you.
