Psalm 128 – Latest Version

December 2, 2018 by Admin

I am brought to my knees when considering God,
This day begins with gratitude for all I have,
I am surrounded by blessing heaped on blessing,
My hardest task is selecting just one to talk about,
The tough work of choosing love is reaping rewards,
My joy comes in seeing my gifts reach to eternity,
Forgetting about the way that closed behind,
I will not cling to yesterday’s hopes that died,
They do not hold hope of resurrection,
The future is spread out before me,
It is a never ending smorgasbord of possibilities,
Eternity’s hand beckoning me to all its promises.

From my prayer mountain I see all that lies ahead,
An unfolding vista that stretches to new horizons,
Love finding its truest expression in all I do,
Gratitude and thankfulness bring fresh discoveries,
Life lived in fruitful activity the secret of blessedness.

Joining spirit and action; soul and work; heart and calling

Today I am going to start …

Today I am going to start living
As only I can live,
I am going to walk in the bush
Listen lovingly to friends,
Take time to hear the birds sing
Love my wife
Be present for my children,
And, wonder at this precious gift
Of life and dreams and time,
Just today, is all I have,
Today I am going to live.
