Today starts with praise again,
Creation reached out with the sun’s first light,
Celebrating with me the gift of eternity,
I have felt Eternity’s touch on my life,
And, the way it puts this life in perspective,
Everything is subject to time,
It’s finiteness requires me to remember Eternity’s call to live truthfully,
Salvation is not to be hidden in a corner of my life,
No! I will live in the bold adventure of Eternity’s promises to me.
The whole world joins with me in one song,
A joyous voice that has found the perfect tune,
The invitation today is to join in Eternity’s call.
Join with the rest of creation in this worship song,
Listen! The seas the mountains, the sunrise, they have been singing this song from the beginning,
They know the song that the beloved forget to sing,
But, God is listening for each voice,
He knows everyone’s part in the song,
Missing no one,
The time will come when he will ask, “Why did you forget to sing?”
Or, he will say, “A beautiful song again my child. I love hearing your special voice”.
I long to sing that beautiful song for him Today.
