My heart is filled with wonder,
Consideration of Eternity’s view,
Shows me that fleeting amazement,
Is nothing when compared to God’s delight,
Foolishness tries to claim his piece of earth,
Building a little kingdom that is gone in an instant,
Eternity builds on loving hearts,
The forever kingdom that always is.
The whole world shouts with one voice,
Worship God, Worship God,
It thunders out this Word,
The mighty oceans pounding it on the shore,
The earth shudders as it separates and joins,
All obedient to the hand of their creator.
I love the feeling of safety in my home,
Certainty in my true place of belonging,
Confusion runs all around me,
While I sit with eternal Truth,
Secure and safe forever.
