My Version
Today I will seek God’s protection,
In a untrustworthy, hostile world,
He is the one that I can trust completely.
There is so many things that can go wrong in life,
Sickness, financial issues, broken relationships,
These are constant reminders,
That it’s only with God that we can truly find safety,
He protects me day and night,
Knowing this,
I can live confidently unfettered by worry.
I am untouchable when I choose to seek God,
Equipped to live courageously,
Facing fear daily and staring it down,
Fear’s power conquered.
God says, “Love is more powerful than fear”,
My love is abundant, just ask me,
I will be with you in the midst of life,
Answering your prayers,
Demonstrating how much I care,
Be blessed today and forever my child,
I love you.
